We believe in fair pricing and fair refunds. This Policy explains when and how you can request a refund or cancellation.
1. Ride cancellations
Cancellations within 2 minutes of booking are free of charge. Cancellations made after a rider has been allocated may incur a ₹15 fee, which compensates the rider for time spent en route.
2. Disputed fares
If you believe a fare was charged in error, raise a dispute within 48 hours of the trip via the in-app help center or by emailing billing@sheride.in. Disputes are resolved within 5 business days, and verified overcharges are refunded to the original payment method within 7 business days.
3. Rider subscriptions
- Monthly (₹499): Cancellable any time. No pro-rated refund for the current month.
- Yearly (₹5,500): Cancellable any time. Pro-rated refund for unused months less a ₹200 processing fee, available within the first 6 months only.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the next billing date.
4. Failed payments
If a payment is deducted but the trip is not booked, the amount will be automatically reversed by your bank within 7 working days. No action is required from you. If you do not see the reversal, contact us with the transaction reference.
5. Promo codes & wallet credits
Promotional credits are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Wallet top-ups are refundable to the original payment method on request within 30 days.
6. Refund timelines
- UPI: 1–3 business days
- Cards: 5–7 business days
- Wallets: 1–2 business days
- Net Banking: 5–7 business days
